The Middle-Belt Youth Congress (MYC) has congratulated Comrade Prince Miaphen on his appointment as the Honourable Commissioner for Youth and Sports in Plateau State.
In a statement signed by its National President, Comrade Obande Gideon Obande, the group described the appointment as a well-deserved recognition of Miaphen’s leadership qualities, experience and commitment to youth development.
Obande said the Congress is confident that the new Commissioner will bring his wealth of experience to bear in advancing youth empowerment and sports development across the state.
According to him, the appointment comes at a time when young people need purposeful leadership, meaningful opportunities and policies that will enable them to contribute positively to the development of Plateau State.
The group urged Miaphen to use his new position to create more opportunities for young people, support sporting talents and promote programmes that will improve the welfare and participation of youths in the state.
The Middle-Belt Youth Congress expressed its best wishes to the new Commissioner, praying that he will have the wisdom and strength to succeed in his new assignment.
The Congress further assured him of its support and goodwill as he begins his tenure.
