The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Sen. Dr. George Akume fnim, CON, ksji has congratulated Muslim faithful in the country for the successful completion of their fast in the Holy month of Ramadan
Sen. Akume in a statement made available to journalists on Monday evening by his Special Adviser on Public Affairs, Terrence Kuanum admonishes Muslim Ummah to uphold the lessons of peace, forgiveness and kindness which are symbolic to the month of Ramadan and also pray for the peace and development of our country.
The SGF seeks for prayers for our President, our nation and leaders across the country, and also call on Muslims to always remember to put the country at the centre in their prayers.
He also salutes their desire to undertake their annual spiritual exercise and pray to Allah to give them the strength to always inbibe the teachings of the Ramadan and equally spread their message of love, peace and unity to other facets of the society.
