“We charge the newly appointed Registrar to deliver far above expectations and continue to build confidence in the capacity of emerging young leaders to effectively lead critical national institutions,” the statement read.

The youth body also commended the outgoing JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, for what it described as his impactful leadership and transformational reforms during his tenure.

According to MYC, JAMB witnessed significant improvements under Oloyede’s administration, particularly in the conduct, administration, and credibility of examinations, which have strengthened public trust in the institution.

The Congress wished Prof. Oloyede success in his future endeavours while expressing optimism that the incoming Registrar would consolidate on existing reforms and further improve the efficiency of the examination board.
