The National Assembly has announced that both chambers will reconvene for plenary on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
In an official notice issued by the Clerk to the National Assembly, Kamoru Ogunlana, senators and members of the House of Representatives were informed that the Senate and the House will resume sitting simultaneously on the stated date.
The notice urged all lawmakers to take note of the resumption date and adjust their schedules accordingly to ensure full attendance, as important decisions are expected to be taken during the session by both chambers.
The Clerk emphasized the significance of the plenary, noting that key legislative matters would be deliberated upon when lawmakers reconvene.
