The Oches Confirmed as Knights of the Anglican Communion Church of Nigeria

Three brothers; James Oche, Paul Oche, andJoseph Oche together with their spouses have been elevated to the exalted Knighthood of the Anglican Communion Church of Nigeria under the Order of Saint Christopher.

In a solemn and spirit filled celebration held at the Anglican Communion Cathedral Church of St. John, Diocese of Otukpo yesterday and superintended by Rt. Revd Benjamin Enwuchola the Diocesan Bishop of Otukpo, the brothers had their investiture into the knighthood of the church.

The investiture was outlined as part of activities to mark the 50th Anniversary of the Public Complaints Commission in Nigeria and Mr. James Oche, who is the Honourable Federal Commissioner in charge of the Commission in Benue State, had led the Staff in the State on an awareness walk on 16th October, 2025 in commemoration of the Commission’s Golden Jubilee.

The investiture as explained by Rt. Revd Benjamin Enwuchola, the Diocesan Bishop of Otukpo was in recognition of the Oche family’s untiring commitment to the growth of the church and the propagation of the gospel in Nigeria. He said with the confirmation of the knighthood, the family was further armed with the uncommon blessings of the church to defend the church and uphold its virtue.

Reacting to the investiture, Mr. Oche said it was an unprecedented honour done to their family by the church and pledged on behalf of his brothers that, the family will remain committed to the things of God and the Church.

The event was graced by prominent personalities across all walks of life and the management staff of the Benue State Office of the Public Complaints Commission, led by the Acting Director of Investigation, Mr. Kpaakpa Terkura, alongside Ene Lucy, Deputy Director of Investigation.
