On the 16th of February, 2025 in Apa-Agila, Ado Local Government Area of Benue State, dignitaries across walks of life will participate in the three main activities scheduled to feature the one year rememberance anniversary of the Late Elder Pius Oche who went to sleep with the Lord about this time in the out-gone year.
The anniversary itinerary made available to the press and the Public by the eldest son of the family, Rt. Hon. Chief James Oche, the Honourable Federal Commissioner of the Public Complaints Commission indicates that there would be an Anniversary Church Service, the Ground Breaking of the Pa Pius Oche Memorial Anglican Church and the Dedication of the Otse ‘Offu Garden City, all in fond memory of their beloved father.
Speaking to newsmen in his Abuja residence earlier in the week, Oche explained that the activities scheduled for the anniversary were a reflecction of the life and times of his late father who was a devoted Christian and community leader who sustained his efforts for a godly and peaceful society till his passing.
Oche explained further that, though deceased, it would be his father’s wish, if he were alive, to see the community he laboured for trade on the right path and so the family is duty-bound to sustain his legacy.
Meanwhile, well wishes and expression of desire to honour the event has continued to trail the family since news of the rememberance anniversary broke out.
