The Deputy Speaker of House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie kalu has finally broken his silence on the continued barrage of media attacks by the Senator Representing Abia South Senatorial zone, Orji Uzor kalu, who has been boasting on several media platforms how he made Rt. Hon. Ben Kalu.
The Deputy speaker, wondered if Orji Kalu, known to only empower his immediate family is done making his blood brothers and wondering if he was not a senior former Governor when Ikechi Emenike led the APC in Abia state or if he just woke up now ?
Ben Kalu in his private message to Sen. Orji Uzor kalu, which leaked to newsman raised a lot of posers to the former Governor and Senator representing Abia South.

You are not done making your blood brothers, were you not the senior former Governor when Ikechi Emenike led the party or you just woke up now ?
Responding to so much boasting from Senator Orji KALU which has severally gone un replied and is beginning to look like the truth Ben Kalu decided to privately remind him about the chronological history of their journey for the sake of the records ,promising to dive deeper if contested . He was replying to what Sen Orji Kalu has used to mislead many as he plays the victim of betrayal and disrespect, when it is revealed that he has consistently worked against the rising of Ben Kalu.
“I brought Benjamin into politics, I made him a Local Government chairman when I was a Governor , I also made him Rep member, I contributed to make sure he won the deputy speaker, so don’t compare us.”

Your Excellency, are the above true ? May be I should start replying all these since you don’t want to stop spreading these lies . I guess it makes you feel good , regardless of the destruction of my image .
- It is a lie that you brought me into politics . I was the National Chairman of PDP in diaspora covering 9 provinces, attending National conventions on invitation in this country, fully paid for by PDP NWC without knowing you President Obasanjo gave me land in Abuja as one of the best Diaspora Chairmen without me knowing you in 2000/2001, even when you were the Governor .
- The first time I met you , I came with an introductory note from Alhaji Shaibu Oyedokun ( he is still alive and over 90 years now ), who was the then Deputy National Chairman, South . He did not meet me on the street, he met me in politics.
- If you brought me into politics, some one that highly placed in politics won’t be introducing me to you. Infact you rather got worried that I knew such person in politics .
- If you brought me into politics , how come I fought your nomination for Bende House of Representatives in 2002 primaries against the 2003 National Assembly elections, questioning the primaries that never took place yet you were declared winner.
- If you brought me into politics why would the party set up reconciliation committee headed by Chief PC Onyegbu now the Traditional Ruler of Ugwunkpa ? The resolution of the committee was for me to stop fighting your candidate but to support him at the elections and thereafter, I will be compensated with LGA Chairmanship and i obliged.
- If you brought me into politics , you would have allowed my Chairmanship to breathe but you truncated it before it could see the light of the day, promising you wanted me as Commissioner , only to cancel that as well within a few days of making the announcement. Let me ask you is that what people who bring others to politics do?
- I was the one who despite all odds, supported your second bid in 2003 with both money, men and materials for all your campaigns . The bank statement is there and other pieces of evidence for my support on your second term bid. Remember Terminus Hotel Aba fund raising for you and my contribution in 2002 for your 2003 elections ?
- Is it true that you made me a Rep member ? People who make others Rep members don’t join opposition secretly to fight against a man they called to run under their party ( then PPA), you did it with the member representing Bende then, that happened in 2011, you repeated it in 2015 , partnering with PDP candidate against your own party member you asked to come and run . What have you not done to destroy my career ? You personally made this confession of deceit to me, forgetting I wasted funds and time for eight years of those elections thinking you were genuine.
- People who send others to reps. You called a meeting in your house before primaries and hit your hand on the table shouting “ 1 am done , I have withdrawn my support, you are on your own, I am no longer backing you to the primaries elections, after which you walked out of the meeting and your younger brother there insisted that the young woman you brought to run against the man you claim and boast to the world you brought into politics and made a Rep , will never step down for him . Infact your brother in the presence of other people in the meeting stated “ over his dead body , there will be no stepping down for any one , aga adoya ado” Gaddafi and Obinudo including , actualisation ( Ebonyi state APC Chairman ) were there.
- Let me ask if you knew what played out after that? You sent hoodlums led by one Mr. Paul from Itumbuzo to attack and snatch the materials for primaries but I over powered them and taught him a lesson. That’s how people send others to the house of reps ?
- You knew what happened with my primaries result after compilation or should I remind you that it got disappeared and you laughed at me when you were told ? Until God intervened, one day will be a day of confession .
- You keep painting this picture of being a victim when you have not been nice to me severally but because I keep quiet you go to town to spread what you know is not the truth. Let me remind you that after my elections you asked to handle my appeal case and I brought money for the expenses to your office, you claimed you will do it as your contribution, I didn’t need to drop the cheque, only to abandon my matter three days to judgement, it was your mum that brought it to my attention that nothing has been done and I took over. Handled it and won . I came with ABN and lgbere TV, your people to inform you, but you refused to congratulate me or have a handshake and they were shocked . May be you wished the matter should have been otherwise.
- Let me remind you that in 2019, you did every thing for then APC state Chairman, Hon. Donatus Nwankpa not to give me ticket, same thing you repeated with High Chief Ikechi Emenike in 2023 , not to assist with my ticket as the man leading the party . Where were you then ( were you not the former Governor then and therefore the automatic leader of the party as you preach now , how come you never challenged the leadership of Ikechi Emenike that you had to take cows to him for your ticket, he was not even a House of Assembly member but he was leading you ? Today you suddenly remembered you are the senior former governor.
- When I won primaries, did you not go to your people asking them not to vote for me ? Did you not hand over your structure to Labour Party to work against me ? Did you not come to my town and dishonour me publicly ? Did you not inform the traditional rulers in Bende that unless I come to your house that I will lose the elections and told them I won’t come to your house and I will win the elections because I was with God and with the people. It happened that way to the glory of God.
- After wining the elections, did you not join forces to fight me in court in several ways ? When I won primaries, did you not make several attempts to damage my image ?
- That you helped me become Deputy Speaker, how sir ? Were you not the one that conspired with one Akwa Ibom young man to disparage my image around the National Assembly ? Were you not the one that spread so much lies on all media platforms to destroy me with all unprintable accusations ? The young man confessed you sent him and drafted what was spread as libel . He confessed at the Force Headquarters and they wanted to bring you in but I had to abandon the case to save your image .
- How did you really contributed to see me win Deputy speaker, you that believed i blocked you from being the Senate President just because I aspired to be the Deputy speaker ? You that did every thing under the sun to damage me in the public eyes and still doing because I am a threat to your being the Senate President. How then did you support me to Deputy speaker ?
- I know your system, you know lies yet you spread them and because people don’t respond to you , it appears to be true . I have decided to be countering every lie you sell out there to sustain your ego sir and to the detriment of my image. I have children and will no longer allow them read lies about their father , so get ready to be reading the truth on every accusation you send your media boys to be churning out .

Stop playing the victim “ I made him , he turned against me “. When you visited my city in diaspora, you saw me leading all Nigerians there as far back as 2001/2002, can an unmade man lead made men in diaspora. As far back as then I was clothing and equipping South African defense force through BEE, had a financial house, a real estate company , franchises of this and that etc without knowing you .
What do you mean by, you made me? It appears it makes you feel good when you write or say these lies , how many more people around you have been so made Biko ? Including your own brothers, please when are you done making them because I see you preoccupied with making those who supposed to have been made 25 years ago . Hurry and make them so you can look away from your family as a statesman to make others.
Oga you didn’t make me , if you did break it down in concrete terms and let me defend it if you won’t stop spreading these lies because my family who knows my story before I met you are embarrassed reading this falsehood of making who they knew before he met you .
