…says it was heart wrenching, sad and devastating
Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Sen. Dr. George Akume has condoled with Sen. Patrick Abba Moro and his entire family, over the tragic loss of their son and grandson in quick succession.
Senator Akume in a statement by Terrence Kuanum
Special Adviser on Public Affairs, said he received the news of the passing away of Victor in a motor accident on Monday, October 20, 2025 with rude shock.
“The news of the passing away of your beloved son, Victor Moro has left me totally broken. Only a few hours ago, your family was hit by the sudden demise of your grandson and moments later, you were forced into another round of mourning.
“I understand how difficult a moment it is for you and your family. It is really devastating.
“Victor’s loving presence would be greatly missed, whilst his fond memory would forever be cherished by all who crossed paths with him. May you and the entire family take solace in the fact that, he lived a purposeful life.”~ The SGF said.
He further notes that, the painful loss has left a void not only in the hearts of the Moro family alone, but Okpokwu local government, Idoma nation and Benue State at large.
Senator Akume prays to God to grant the late Victor Moro eternal rest, and grant his family and friends the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
