Members of the Renewed Hope for Greater Nigeria (RHGN), a prominent political support group committed to the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, have showered encomiums on their National Coordinator, Hon. Dr. Callistus Anyanwu, for his exceptional leadership and strategic role in shaping political narratives within the ruling party.
The commendations came during a well-attended appreciation ceremony organized in his honour, following his outstanding performance at the APC National Convention. The event, convened by the Organising Secretary of the group, Hon. Noble Joseph Kelechi, was held at the National Assembly Complex, Abuja, last Thursday.
The ceremony drew members and stakeholders of the group from across Nigeria’s geopolitical zones, all of whom spoke glowingly of Dr. Anyanwu’s leadership acumen, describing him as a unifying force and a visionary strategist whose influence continues to energize grassroots mobilization and strengthen party cohesion.
Speakers at the event highlighted his ability to inspire loyalty, build consensus, and effectively mobilize supporters toward a common political goal. They noted that under his leadership, the RHGN has grown into a formidable support structure, actively contributing to the promotion of the policies and achievements of the Tinubu administration.
Dignitaries present at the occasion included respected figures such as Dr. Vivien Njemanze, Dr. Ngozi Olejeme, who both commended Dr. Anyanwu for his commitment to service, political foresight, and dedication to national development. Others includes the Vice Chairman of Kwali Area Council among others.
In a goodwill message delivered on behalf of the Presidency, O’tega Ogra, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Digital and New Media, applauded the group for its steadfast support and unwavering commitment to the Renewed Hope agenda. He particularly praised Dr. Anyanwu for his exemplary leadership, noting that his efforts have significantly contributed to strengthening the connection between the government and the grassroots.
According to Ogra, the role played by support groups like RHGN remains critical in consolidating the achievements of the current administration and ensuring continuity through the successful re-election of President Tinubu.
The highlight of the event was a collective reaffirmation by members across all regions of the country, pledging their continued loyalty and intensified efforts toward mobilizing support for the President ahead of future elections. They emphasized that Dr. Anyanwu’s leadership has not only empowered members but has also provided a clear direction for effective political engagement and advocacy.
In their separate remarks, members expressed deep appreciation to Dr. Anyanwu for creating opportunities for inclusion, mentorship, and active participation in national politics.
