Kalu Condemns Jos Attack, Demands Justice for Victims

Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt Hon. Benjamin Kalu PhD, CFR has strongly condemned the deadly attack on residents of Angwan Rukuba in Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State.

The attack, which reportedly occurred on Sunday night, claimed several lives and left many others injured, throwing the community into mourning.

According to a statement issued by Udora Orizu, SA Press Affairs, noted that Kalu in a condolence message expressed deep sorrow over the tragic incident, commiserating with the bereaved families and Plateau state government, praying for the speedy recovery of those injured.

He described the attack as senseless and unacceptable, stressing that the sanctity of human life must be upheld at all times.

The Deputy Speaker assured residents that security agencies would leave no stone unturned in tracking down the perpetrators and bringing them to justice.

He called for calm among residents, urging them to cooperate with law enforcement authorities by providing useful information that could aid ongoing investigations.

Kalu further emphasized the need for strengthened security measures across vulnerable communities and renewed commitment from all stakeholders to ensure lasting peace in Plateau State and
across the nation.
