Senator Ajagunnla-Oodua Olubiyi Fadeyi, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Environment and representative for Osun Central Senatorial District, has announced presidential approval for 5 kilometers of road construction across the district.
A key highlight is a 1-kilometer access road within the Federal University of Health Sciences Teaching Hospital in Ila-Orangun.
The remaining 4 kilometers will connect other parts of the senatorial district boosting infrastructure and providing rural road access to farmers, traders and commuters.
“This project will transform mobility and healthcare delivery in our region,” Senator Fadeyi said in a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Digital Media and Publicity, Bashorun Adekanola Desmond.
The official flag-off ceremony is set for later this March, to be led by the Senator himself.
Preliminary site clearing has already started at the hospital site, signaling imminent full-scale construction.
This move highlights Fadeyi’s dedication to infrastructure and healthcare improvements in Osun Central.
