Oche Hails PCC Nigeria’s 50 Years of Service, Expresses Optimism at Global Ombudsman Summit

The Honourable Federal Commissioner of the Public Complaints Commission in Benue State has said the Commission under the Leadership of Rt. Hon. Bashir Abubakar as Chief Commissioner was breaking new grounds and laying a consolidated foundation for unprecedented achievements.

He has also urged government at all levels to support the state offices of the Commission in order to maximise the better administration of the mandate of the state offices of the Commission.

Oche stated this recently in Abuja when he participated at the Grand Finale of the Global Ombudsman Summit which was conjoined with the 50th Anniversary Celebration of the existence of the Commission in Nigeria.

With the theme, “Effective Ombudsman Institution: Catalyst For Good Governance” and the sub themes, “Ombudsman Mission Under Democratic Governance, Alternative Dispute Resolution Panacea for Sustainable Peace and Development”, the event held at the Ladi Kwali Conference Center, Abuja Continental Hotel and attracted participation from persons across all walks of life and even people from the diaspora.

Mr. Oche while commending the success of the event has expressed optimism that, the current leadership of the Commission was committed to achieving its mandate substantially and sued for the cooperation of the members of the Public.
