The Chairman of the Senate Committee on Federal Character and Inter-Governmental Affairs, Senator (Chief) Allwell Onyesoh, DSSRS, JP, FIBAKM (Rivers East/PDP), has congratulated the President of the 10th Senate, His Excellency Godswill Akpabio, GCON, on his 62nd birthday.
In a congratulatory message signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Peter Oriri, Senator Onyesoh described Akpabio as a reliable, capable, and indispensable pillar of the 10th Senate. The statement further praised Akpabio’s exceptional leadership, wisdom, and dedication to Nigeria’s democracy.
Onyesoh commended Akpabio’s commitment to good governance, accountability, and the rule of law, noting that these values continue to reposition Nigeria’s democracy at all levels.
He also lauded the Senate President’s historic election to the Executive Committee of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), which ended Nigeria’s 59-year absence from the top ranks of the global legislative body.
Senator Onyesoh wished him long life, good health, and prayed for God’s continued blessings and wisdom in his service to the nation.
