NTA to Collaborate with, Sustain Publicity Drive for the PCC

The Nigeria Television Authority (NTA) has expressed its willingness to partner with the Public Complaints Commission in Benue State in order to achieve the positive gains of inter-agency collaboration.

This, the NTA made known through its Acting Zonal Director in Makurdi, Mr. Pascmom Mgbebe when he paid a courtesy visit to the Federal Commissioner of the Public Complaints Commission in Makurdi, Mr. James Ogaba Oche.

The Acting Zonal Director assured the Commissioner that they would consistently ensure news about the Commission reaches far beyond Benue State, as the NTA is committed to supporting the Commission’s success.

To turn words into action, Mr. Mgbebe invited the Hon. Commissioner to participate in the Authority’s live phone-in and documentary programs, as well as the Pidgin publicity initiative.

Highlighting Oche’s strong leadership qualities, Terna Umah, the Manager (News) of the NTA, credited these traits to commitment, passion and service which Oche is known for.

In response, the Hon. Commissioner expressed his gratitude for the visit and conveyed his eagerness for the partnership to thrive. Oche noted that the mass media, particularly NTA, lay the groundwork for informing and educating the public about the benefits they can derive from the Commission.

Oche further stated that, the media can help the Commission expose uncooperative parties during investigations, placing them under public scrutiny and opinion. This is where the activities of NTA and the Commission intersect.

Reacting positively to the offer of participation in the NTA programs aimed at enhancing publicity, Mr. Oche promised to establish a committee to maximize the opportunities.

Accompanying the Acting Zonal Director were Acting Director (News) Joshua Sunday, Assistant Directors Christy Amalu (Finance), Ismaila Abubakar (Technical Services), Susan Omale (Programs), Justin Jacob A. (Admin), Terna Umah (Manager, News), Dooshima Abenga (Manager, Marketing), and Innocent Goker (Camera).

Also present on the Commissioner’s management team were Justin-Chuwang (Director of Investigation), Deputy Directors of Investigation Kpaakpa Terkura, Onyilo Ene Lucy, and Orhemba Charles, as well as Assistant Directors of Investigation Igboke Tony, Akoja Moses, and Jeje Pretty. Other team members were Ati Albert (Chief Investigation Officer), Assistant Chief State Counsel, and Gabriel Agbese Echi (Principal Information Officer). Hon Sunday Oche (Chief of Staff), Hon Jeffry Anidile (Special Principal Adviser) and Hon Otsai Emmanuel (Media Aide).
