The Senator representing the good people of Rivers East Senatorial District and Chairman, Senate Committee on Federal Character and Inter-governmental Affairs, Distinguished Senator (Chief) Allwell Onyesoh, DSSRS, JP, FIBAKM held an interactive meeting earlier today with Prof. Idris M. Bugaje, the Executive Secretary of the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).
The meeting aimed to review the board’s nominal roll and assess their efforts in upholding the principles of Federal Character at all levels.
Senator Onyesoh, a pragmatic and intelligent lawmaker, charged the board to remain law-abiding and ensure adherence to the Federal Character principles, avoiding any form of imbalance.
Despite the annual recess, Senator Onyesoh has been working tirelessly to ensure the equitable distribution of jobs and resources across all government agencies and parastatals. He is indeed the people’s most community-oriented senator and a blessing to his senatorial district.
