Olakunde Bamidele Heritage, the chairman of Bamcom Nigeria Limited, is making significant strides in the real estate sector. His company, a rapidly growing enterprise registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) for over a decade, is renowned for its expertise in selling buildable estate plots, property development, land banking, and various other real estate services.
A native of Okitupupa Local Government Area in Ondo State, Heritage graduated with a degree in Political Science from the University of Abuja. Following his graduation, he completed his mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) year at the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), where he honed his skills and developed a passion for real estate.
Olakunde’s dedication and perseverance during his service year led to the establishment of Bamcom Nigeria Limited in 2011. Initially focused on property rental services, the company quickly expanded its scope to include land acquisition. This growth paved the way for the creation of Bamcom Homes in 2020, a division specializing in real estate development, land acquisition, consulting, investment services, and land banking. Within a short period, Bamcom Homes has earned a reputation as a leading real estate organization in Abuja.
Olakunde’s achievements have not gone unnoticed. He was recently honored as the Real Estate Personality of the Year by the African Icon Awards, an organization dedicated to recognizing outstanding young Africans who have made significant contributions to the continent. The award was presented by the Director of Projects, Amb. Abraham Lawal, at Heritage’s Abuja office.
