….Calls On National Secretariat to Make Him Caretaker Chairman
Zone C PDP Frontier members have overwhelmingly passed a vote of confidence in the leadership of His Excellency Sir John Ngbede as the Pepoples Democratic Party Chairman, Benue State.
The group in their meeting at GRA Otukpo, call on the PDP National Secretariat to allow Sir John Ngbede to continue as Caretaker Committee Chairman until the party has a new leadership.
This decision, reached today during a meeting to reflects on the tenure of the former Chairman who in their collective belief has done so well and has ability to steer the party through its current challenges and towards a successful future.
The group believe that Sir Ngbede as Caretaker Chairman will consolidate on the gains of his achievements and stabilize the party position with the upcoming congress. They expressed their unwavering support for Sir John Ngbede, citing his commitment to the party’s core values and his strategic vision for revitalizing its structure and outreach.
They noted that His Excellency Sir John Ngbede’s leadership has been characterized by inclusivity and a focus on grassroots mobilization, which many believe are essential for the party’s resurgence.
Zone C PDP Frontier believe that the crisis rocking the party has been worsen with the new caretaker committee members headed by someone not from Benue State.
They believe that if the national secretariat of PDP do the needful by allowing Sir Ngbede to continue in acting capacity it will ensure stability and continuity within the party’s leadership.
The PDP group argued that Sir John’s experience and proven track record make him the ideal candidate to guide the PDP during this transitional phase. His ability to foster collaboration among party factions and engage with the electorates has been widely recognized as a vital asset.
The group maintained that, as the party prepares for the challenges ahead and there’s a need for committed party man who can tamed the menace of antiparty in the state to ensure unity and progress.
The group call on all PDP stakeholders to give peace a chance and have a renewed focus on strategic planning and community engagement to reclaim the party position as a formidable force in Nigerian politics put the party into its winning ways.
